Roger Peckett
I was born in north Birmingham in 1944, which gives me the right to call myself a Brummie. I have lived and worked in a number of places around the UK and I am now what you call a pensioner, as I have retired! I tend to carry a camera about with me and am around the City on many days just taking photos. I have taken numerous over the years, that I have now lost count. I have always liked the feel of a camera since my mid twenties; up to three years ago used a Pentax SLR on a regular basis. My first Digital was probably one of the early types with 1MB internal memory and 350,000-pixel 640x480 pixels. My latest has a separate magnetic telephoto and wide angle lenses all in a package 56x90x20mm and gives me the attributes of an SLR.
